Jim Peterson

Jim Peterson is interested in developing and maturing systems-level thinking about complex products. He has expertise in front-end specifications, modeling, and performance analysis for systems. He has provided organization and educational leadership on these subjects to corporations and universities.

He was VP of field services as well as Director of Systems Engineering and Architecture at Gogo LLC, Director of Architecture at WMS Gaming, Director of operations at Novarra, and was with AT&T Bell Labs, Lucent Technologies, Alcatel-Lucent, and Motorola for 25 years in a variety of architecture and management roles in the telecommunications industry.

He has taught Systems Engineering at Northwestern University and Computer Science at North Central College.

Jim holds Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in Computer Science from the University of Illinois and a B.A. in Mathematics and Physics from St. Olaf College.
