Jane Hunter, Ph.D., PMP

Chief of Learning Solutions

Dr. Hunter is the Chief of Learning Solutions with SkeensMcDonell™ Consulting Group and the Vice President for Strategic Initiatives at the University of Arizona. Formerly, she served as the Director of Academic Resources and Special Projects, Director of Engineering Education Enrichment Programs and Associate Director of the Engineering Management Program.

In her current role at the University of Arizona, she oversees the campus-wide implementation of the strategic plan that is designed to transform the institution and encompasses a wide variety of initiatives and stakeholders. Jane and her team educate Initiative Owners about project management best practices and hold them accountable for the performance of their initiatives against budgets, milestones, and KPIs. Prior to joining the University, she worked for a variety of companies, including IBM and Anaquest, in engineering, sales, and management positions.

Jane has a BS in Mechanical Engineering, MS in Engineering Management and Ph.D. in Higher Education. She is a Project Management Institute (PMI) certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
